Returns & Alternations
Annie is happy to make basic alterations to any veil if time permits. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of a veil's materials, only certain changes can be made without re-making the veil.
- Veil Shortening
- Change of comb
- Minor adjustments to lace applications (if the appliqué is very fine or needed to be carefully hand-sewn, it is not always possible to make adjustments to the lace without damaging the lace, tulle or net below)
Alterations That Cannot Be Made:
- Increasing a veil's length
- Replacing or removing lace
- Adjusting the color of the English Net or Tulle
If the required alteration cannot be made and the error is due to an problem with the length or style by the maker, a new veil will be made at no cost. Shipping and any required rush fees will need to be covered by the customer.
All other circumstances where alterations cannot be made will require the customer to purchase a new veil.
Damage to Veil
If the veil arrives to the customer with any signs of damage, AEB will re-make the veil at no cost.
If the veil is damaged prior to it's wear date while in the home of the customer, the customer will need to pay full-price for a new veil. A rush fee may apply.
Annie Ekstrom Bridal will accept returns of non-custom veils if they are in the original packaging and un-worn. Returns need to be made or communicated to AEB within 30 days of receiving the veil. There is a $45 re-stocking fee for all returns and return shipping is to be paid by the customer.
Annie Ekstrom Bridal will not accept the return of a custom veil product. If there is an issue with fit upon receipt of a custom veil, please contact Annie directly to discuss. After the final veil has been delivered, any adjustments due to fit will be subject to a $50 alteration fee and the customer is responsible for all shipping fees.
In most circumstances, adjustments due to dissatisfaction with the style of the veil or the match to a wedding gown can be accommodated but are subject to a $50-$100 alteration fee depending on the complexity of alteration.
A custom veil cannot be returned for a full refund for any reason except an improper fit that cannot be addressed through alteration.
